Mahindra Logan mpfi

The Logan's diesel engine isn't particularly quiet but that's more due to insufficient sound-deadening material around. The engine is very impressive while driving and the light turbo works well making the mill extremely responsive. The gearshift is pretty slick and the cleverly spaced out ratios should maximise fuel economy. In Europe's combined-cycle fuel consumption tests, the Logan achieved 4.7 litres per 100km or 21.3kpl! Even if you discount that figure by 30 percent, you are looking at a highly fuel-efficient car. Add to that a 50-litre fuel tank, and this means a range that can take you from Bangalore to Mumbai on a single fill! Besides fuel efficiency that is the Logan's strength, the car has been designed to keep running costs low with generous warranties and long service intervals, which the Indian variant should adopt as well.

Mahindra Logan maintenance

Mahindra Renault Logan will be an entry-level, compact sedan. Logan is expected to be an affordable, reliable, durable, and low maintenance car. It will have several features that will appeal to Indian car buyers in the entry-level sedan category. These include sufficiently tall ride height, easy entry and exit, fuel-efficient engine and extra-large boot volume (all of 510 litres).

Mahindra Renault Logan A/C

Mahindra Renault Ltd (Mahindra and Renault’s 51:49 JV) is introducing Logan in India. Renault Logan (also known as Dacia Logan) is a robust, reliable, economical mid-sizer. On Wednesday February 23, 2005, Mahindra and Mahindra announced its joint venture partnership with Renault of France to make the Logan in India. But don’t start looking for the closest dealer yet: the Mahindra Logan won’t be available in India before mid-2007.

The air conditioning is powerful enough to lower temperature several degrees (above 40ºC are common in the Middle East and Mediterranean Sea). It has very good space and comfort is good too. Logan coming to India is stripped-down version of European Logan and will have very basic features only. This car is expected to do good in rural areas where Mahindra has better reach. This car will attract prospective Esteem/Indigo buyers and will succeed in breaking many of them. It would be very good option for people seeking a basic, reliable, contemporary sedan.
