Mahindra Logan engine


Logan is available with a 75 bhp, 1.4-litre petrol, 90 bhp, 1.6-litre petrol, and a 65 bhp 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine option. The choice of engines for the Indian version of the Logan has not been announced as yet. All three models (1.4-Petrol, 1.6-Petrol, 1.5-Diesel) equipped with 4 cylinder ,8 valve with maximun power is 75 / 5500, 90 / 5500, 65 / 4000 (hp/rpm) respectively and Max. Torque (nm/rpm) is 112/3000, 128/3000 and 160/2000 respectively. The dimension of engine is given below;

Renault’s engineering and Mahindra’s dealer-network should give fantastic after-sales-services and reliability.1.4L, 76ps Petrol engine’s performance would be good enough unless they tune engine too much for better fuel economy.
